Answers to your T-Shirt quilt questions!
Answers to your T-Shirt quilt questions!
We often receive messages from those looking to have a t-shirt quilt created with us, so we thought it would be a great idea to cover the basics all in one place! So go ahead, grab a coffee and let’s get started.

Unlike a traditional quilt created from three layers, we have put our own modern twist on them and have created a blanket style to suit every budget and taste. Fancy bespoke quilts are absolutely stunning, but so are their price point so bringing something affordable to the market was our no.1 priority :)
We use only the best quality threads and materials. Our backings are a 16oz super soft velour fleece that can stand up to many washes. We use industrial machines to make sure that everything has been sewn to last the long haul.
👉We cut the squares according to the size you have ordered
👉Each square is stitched together using our industrial 4-thread serger until a row is finished
👉Each row is then serged to one another
👉 The finished quilt top is laid face down on the right side of the fleece backing and pinned.
👉We trim the excess fleece and serge it together leaving an opening to turn right side out
👉turn right side out and to finish, we too stitch around the edge
🙌And it’s as simple as that!
Depending on our work load, typically our turnaround is 3-4 weeks from receiving your clothing. It’s always worth checking in with us if you have a special event coming up that you require the blanket for- we try to be as flexible as possible
Absolutely not :) we can use a wide range of materials as our industrial machines are great at handling stretchy and non stretchy fabrics. Jerseys, sweatshirts, technical shirts, dress shirts are just a few ideas of the material types we have used recently
Nope! All we ask is that you separate the fronts from the backs and only include what you want in your quilt in your package. Don’t worry, it’s super simple and we’ve dedicated a page on our website to guide you through it along with a video on YouTube. We are also always available via email, the website, or via phone if you have any questions. Alternatively, we can also cut them for you here for an additional $15.

We also use flat-rate shipping boxes! Once your project has been completed we will wrap it up in tissue paper and use either the medium or large box to return it to you- once it’s all parceled up we scan the barcode which sends over the tracking info to you via email. We will also let you know once your parcel has been delivered.
Yep! We have our baby/ toddler quilt option which uses 6.5” squares. They come in the same standard sizing as our regular quilt but with a whole load of more clothing!
Check out our baby toddler quilts here
No prep is required for our baby toddler quilts- the reason for this is because we are using much smaller items and there is no room for error- we need to utilize every last inch!
Of course! We also offer 16.5” squares too! That way, you don’t have to sacrifice any of your precious motifs- this size works great for concert shirts and jerseys to name but a few
